Look... No Hands!

Hunter has been standing more and more by himself. He is just seconds away from taking his first step. YIKES!!!! I'm totally not ready. But I think he may be the cutest, shortest, baldest walking little baby I ever did see!!! At least he doesn't have far to fall!

I could just eat this little face up! He is the sweetest boy ever and such a good cuddler. Once Caitlin started crawling and walking, she would only cuddle me when it was bedtime. and here's the big sis..... she was getting some tea for everybody. She loves serving tea and cookies!

Too much playing for Hunter!! He fell asleep in his high chair almost every night last week after he ate his dinner. It was so precious.

Little man on the move

He's such a happy, happy boy and always wanting to be standing up and part of the action. And at the moment, he was enjoying a play turkey leg...mmmmm!

Curls!!!!!

I was putting curlers in my hair and Caitlin wanted to play along too. It took only 5 rollers and 2 minutes and she had the most beautiful curls. She looked like such a big girl, so cute!

I love this picture. They both have such cute looks on their faces!! Caitlin was pushing Hunter around the kitchen and he was loving it.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Caitlin loves helping blow out the candles, so we let her blow them out by herself (3 times) after helping daddy. She's getting better at singing happy birthday. By the time Hunter turns 1, I think she'll have it down.

We got daddy some camping gear for his birthday. We're looking forward to some "daytime" camping trips this spring. Caitlin and Hunter made him a collage of some of their favorite pictures as well to hang up in his office. It was a good night!

Happy New Year!!! I hope 2012 is as wonderful as the last. I don't think we'll be adding any more children to our family in 2012 but who knows! :) I told Matt that we can only have kids in odd years so hopefully we're safe for another year. We will be adding a family member though. Whitey and Meg are getting married in September so we are all looking forward to that.

Christmas Pictures

Hunter's little red nose from being sick, he couldn't be any cuter.

Christmas day was so much fun. Hunter was up bright and early like always so we had an early start. We let Caitlin sleep a little bit, but Matt got her up about 6:45am to start the festivities. It took Caitlin a little bit to warm up and figure out what she was supposed to do, but she wanted to stop a while and play with each toy she got. And actually, she spent more time playing with Hunter's toys. We opened presents at our house then headed over to Mom Mom and Pa's house for tons of more presents. There's not too many pictures of Hunter because he wasn't feeling very well, but he's a trooper and did so good. Grandma and Pa joined the festivities for dinner!!! We had lots of food and yummy cookies.
We are very blessed with such a wonderful family. It was a fabulous Christmas.
