Happy 4th of July

We had a great day swimming!  We watched the fireworks on the golf course and were able to see several. Even Hunter stayed awake until the end. I think next year we may go up close to see the fireworks. (I'm hoping so anyway!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Hunter

New tricycle (poor guy can hardly touch the pedals)

Hunter had a farm animal birthday party.  He loves animals and this was the perfect theme.  He wanted to eat his barn cake as soon as he saw it.  When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said "Cakes."  He got lots of tractors and animals.  A balloon guy even came and made any balloon animal you could think of (thanks Mom Mom).  We had a great time with family and friends.

Makes Daddy Proud

Matt has been getting ready for his Open House this week so I took the kids out to Bobcat to play around a little.  They have so much fun, but Hunter refuses to leave.  We have to get creative in what to tell him so he doesn't scream the whole way home, he just loves ALL equipment.  And he prefers to drive...

Today's excuse...cookie!  It worked, that's all that matters!

Happy Easter

Cheeeeeeeeeese!!!

What a wonderful Easter!  The Easter Bunny left Caitlin and Hunter a note along with some twizzlers and he said that he hid their baskets, but that he hid the eggs at Mom Mom & Pa's and more at Grandma & Pa's.  The search was on.... The kids got way too much candy and lots of cute things.  Everyone headed to Sublette and we had a great day and all the cousins got to play together.  As you can see in the bottom picture, they were pretty worn out when we got home. 

Sublette Toy Show

We took Caitlin and Hunter up to my parents last weekend to experience the Annual Toy Show which is an event where all the local farmers line the downtown area with tractors new and old. They have several buildings filled with toy tractors, trucks and trains of all sizes. I have never seen Hunter so excited! He loves tractors and especially when "Pa" takes him on rides. It was so cold, but it didn't phase either of them. We enjoyed the delicious pancake and sausage breakfast that the local fireman put together.
As you can see in the pictures, Daddy enjoyed this as much as the kids. We are definitely making this an annual event to take the kids to (grandma and pa are excited too!)

Snow much fun!!!

After a beautiful snow on New Year's Eve, we decided to bundle the kids up the next day for a little sled ride. Great idea! They had a blast! We took them on a couple hills on the golf course but it was too cold to stay out very long. Caitlin just kept saying, "that was so fun!!".
Don't pay any attention to the guns, you never know what you might see outside:)

Merry Christmas

On the nice list...

The kids did awesome last night when we went to see Santa. Caitlin told him she wants a baby doll and new boots and Hunter wants a tractor and truck. Santa even knew about Harvey, our Elf on the Shelf and told the kids he would be seeing him last night. It was so sweet. We ended the night with driving through the Festival of Lights. What a Great night!!!
