Picnic in the woods

It was such a beautiful day on Sunday that we decided to take a quick trip out to daddy's hunting spot to check his trail cameras. We packed a picnic lunch for the kids and took Pa along too. We saw 3 deer, some cows, a horse and the goats! The farmer at the land has all these animals and the kids enjoy watching them. The goats are a new addition and I just get a kick out of them eating on top of the trailer. Even Hunter says, "hey goat.". We love taking utility vehicle rides and playing in the woods. What a great Sunday with the family!!

Lake Michigan 2012

What a great family vacation in Michigan with the Fisher's! We went for 3 nights up to Saugatuck to relax and play at the beach. We were able to take the kids on their first boat ride which they LOVED!!! Caitlin even got to drive the boat (thanks uncle Tom). The beach was fun for Caitlin but Hunter ate a few handfuls of sand and he wouldn't wear his life jacket. Everyone was happier on the boat. The kids got to watch Mal and mommy waterski.
It was a great trip and we can't wait to go back!!!

Caitlin is such a great big sister and is starting to show Hunter the ropes. He wants to do everything she does. They really play well together.
