First Step...

Hunter Boy (as Caitlin refers to him) took his very first step Saturday night. He wanted to walk over to daddy so bad but just managed 1 step. It was so precious and daddy was very proud. He took 2 more steps on Sunday but both with his left foot. He is going to take off really soon. I'm pretty sure he's saying "da da" too but who really knows what he's saying with all the babbling! It's so sweet. It's like he turned 10 months old and grew up all of a sudden. Mommy was having a hard time dealing with all the milestones in one weekend. 1st step, saying dada, eating goldfish, copying Caitlin's screaming, doing what his sister is doing. He's getting too big. I love that little guy so much. Oh, and he's waving now too and clapping all the time. and let's not forget kissing. He gives the best little kisses (especially likes kissing mommy's nose!!) aahhhhhhh, I just love him!!! Here are some sweet pictures of the little man.
...and Caitlin, let's just say she's in the prime stages of the Terrible Two's!!!!
More about that later...

Caitlin and I made some cookies for daddy for Valentine's Day. Caitlin added the red sprinkles all by herself. She LOVES sprinkles!!!! (She looks really old in this picture and I don't like it!)

We're Moving....

The month of January was very stressful and exciting for us. We found a house we liked right after Christmas and looked at it a few times. We decided that we wanted to make it ours. Last spring we tried moving and the house we wanted sold right after we looked at it so we knew if we wanted this house, we had to get it soon. On January 9th, we signed the purchase agreement to buy it. It was super exciting but scary at the same time since we still needed to sell our house. And with this terrible housing market, it was the risk we were willing to take. We called a few people that we thought may be interested in our house and nothing ever came of it. On January 30th, we officially listed our house. The following day we had 3 showings and 2 of them wanted to come back for a second showing. Wed, we got an offer in the afternoon that wasn't so great and by 8pm we had the 2nd offer. With a little negotiating, we accepted!!! Only 48 hours of the house being on the market and it was sold!!! We buried St. Joseph in the front yard and prayed to him every night that he would help sell our house and find a buyer for ours that would love our house as much as we have. God answered our prayers!!! Now we look forward to packing and moving, but not until April.

New House

Old/Current House
It will be very emotional to leave our home. We have shared so many wonderful memories there. Just to name a few: Matt proposed to me there, we brought our children home to that house, we celebrated many birthdays and holidays there, shared laughs and tears and the list goes on. We are looking forward to the transition to our new home and making many, many more memories.

Happy Birthday to Mom Mom

Wednesday was Mom Mom Dianne's birthday. We helped her celebrate by taking her to Schooner's and I made her a cherry-chocolate chip birthday cake that was very yummy. We also pitched in to get her a new computer (hers was from 1984 and we were worried about her anger management issues because it was so slow). Everyone will be much happier now!

Wednesday was also a very exciting day, we sold our house!!!!
