Cubs vs. Cards

Well, it was a great game other than the Cubs losing by 8 runs. Matt and my mom were pleased with the outcome although my dad and I had a sinking feeling that the Cubs might not be able to pull it off, even after scoring 5 runs the first inning. At least we got to see lots of action and the nachos were extra good! We hit the casino after the game but none of us hit the jackpot.

And it was great to get home and see the kids!!!! I missed them terribly, especially since this was the first time leaving Hunter overnight. He did great though. Caitlin was sleeping when we got home but she was up shortly after and did some great cuddling with daddy. Hunter was as happy as could be just like usual. He got extra kisses from mommy today!!!

Another great day at the pool!

Now isn't this precious??? Caitlin wanted to float around the pool with mommy and I soaked in every second of it. She almost fell asleep because it was getting close to her nap time. The picture looks cloudy b/c the lens fogged up when Matt came outside to take the picture but I think it turned out pretty neat.

And then after nap time, Caitlin ran around the house thinking she was a super woman. Gotta love it!

Last Sunday we spent the day with Grandma (Graaaama is how Caitlin pronounces it) and Pa! We came home for Henry's birthday party but we had our hands full and didn't get any pictures at the party.

Who stole my froggy???

I love this picture. Caitlin actually gave Hunter one of her froggies to play with because he was fussing. And she only gives her froggies to those people she REALLY loves. What a great big sister! You can see that Hunter has found his hands too. It keeps him occupied:)

Hunter is 3 months old already. He is such a sweet boy and is smiling all the time. He is getting too big too fast and is into 6 month clothes now. As you can see, he likes the color orange like his mommy! I wish he'd stop growing though!!! I like him just the way he is.

... and here's the big sis. I was taking pictures of Hunter so Caitlin kept saying "cheese" until I came and got her picture and gave her some attention. At least one of hers turned out good. What a cutie!

Play Date

What a fun play date at Kelly's house today. The kids got along pretty good for the most part. They're all still learning to share:) Maybe someday we can get all the girls and our kiddos together. The picture went better than expected thanks to the self-timer on my camera.

POOL TIME!!!!

Caitlin loves the pool and isn't the least big scared of it. She got really brave and wanted to go down the slide into the water. She would say "up" when she was halfway down because she was ready to slide down again. I think it's time to start swimming lessons.

.... and Hunter sleeps through it all, bless his heart. He'll be splashing around next year.

Happy boy!!!! Hunter had another test done in Peoria for delayed gastric emptying. He passed!! Hopefully now we won't have to go back to Peoria for any tests. He'll continue to stay on the Prevacid for the acid reflux for quite a while. But you can see in this picture that he's a very happy boy. He smiles all the time and has been sleeping an average of 9 hours every night. We have truly been blessed with great sleepers!!!!
