Pumpkin Carving Day

What a fun day carving pumpkins... finished product below. Hunter's traditional scary face pumpkin, Cassy's Cookie Monster and Caitlin's Elmo.

6 Months

Our Hunter Man is 6 months old already. He seems to be growing so much faster than Caitlin and it's making mommy so sad. I would like him to stay little, but he has bigger plans.... like crawling. He's scooting all over the place and will be crawling any day now. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. And he loves every minute of it. He's seriously the happiest baby ever! He's up to 16lbs. He's eating cereal and new foods now. He gets so excited at every bite. His favorite thing is to watch his sister, and she loves to entertain him. He also can't wait til he can chase Pete around the house. Watch out!

2 Years

Another birthday picture, she acted like she was so embarrassed when we sang her Happy Birthday, so sweet.

Wearing Uncle Chris' under shirt as jammies. She refused to take it off so she got to wear it to bed. Luckily I talked her out of wearing it to the babysitter's the next day.

Caitlin has an obsession for shoes. A friend from work gave her these boots and she thought it was necessary to put them on the minute she woke up.This is our sweet darling Caitlin. I can hardly believe she's 2 years old. She is such a little girl with a large personality. She got a good report from the doctor and is 26lbs. She talks more and more everyday. Here's a few of the things you might hear her say:
"Sure"
"No, Caitlin" (she likes to do everything herself)
"Hunter" (she absolutely loves her brother!)
"Pete, Time Out"
.....and many more!

Rader's Pumpkin Patch

The caterpillar ride, how fun!! Caitlin loved it.

What a fun day at Rader's. There was still lots of family in town that came to Caitlin's party that went to the pumpkin patch with us. Caitlin was a little scared of the animals, but otherwise I think she had a great time. Mommy's favorite part was the slide!!!

This was the Sunday evening after Caitlin's party and the trip to Rader's. I think one little girl was a little tired out. She's such a trooper!!

Princess Tent

Loving her new tent that Grandma and Pa got her for her birthday. It's so cute. Don't let Henry fool you, he loved playing in the princess tent. He might have been a little rough with it, but Caitlin still let him play. :)

Mommy got in the tent, but she didn't look very graceful getting out. Yikes!

Tea Party

Caitlin really enjoyed blowing out her candle once she figured out what she was supposed to do. I think I re-lit it and we all sang about 3 times, it was so sweet.I was so proud of the cake!!! It took a long time to do, but totally worth it. I really didn't want to cut into it.

It took a long time for Caitlin to open her presents, especially after she got this step stool. She put it in the middle of the room and wanted to model everything she got standing on it. It was supposed to be for washing her hands, but she still can't reach the sink very well.

New tricycle, it has lots of buttons and plays super cute music. SHE LOVES IT!!!

New slippers....Let's just say she's obsessed with shoes and now with slippers. She has 2 pair that she rotates and sleeps in them most nights. I give in to avoid a screaming match before bed.

Happy 2nd Birthday Caitlin Mae

Caitlin turns 2 day, I can't believe how fast time flies. She is getting to be such a big girl and is talking so much. She had a fabulous tea party last weekend that I will post pictures of soon. We had a little birthday party tonight too at Mom Mom and Pa's. I think the celebration is finally over after talking about birthdays for the past week. Caitlin loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to her and really enjoyed blowing the candles out. We love you Caitlin!!!!

Look what Hunter can do!!!

I was playing with Hunter tonight and he was showing me that he could sit up all on his own. He can't do it very well yet, but he shocked me that he could do it at all. Seriously, when did he get so big?? And now he really can't be trusted because wherever I lay him down, he rolls about halfway across the room and is trying to scoot around as well. I really don't like that he's growing up....and here is big sis praising him on doing such a good job. So Sweet!
