What a weekend...

This weekend I took the kids to my parents for the weekend while Matt started packing. My 3 nieces also came Sat. to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa. The cousins had so much fun playing with each other, especially Caitlin and Kristin. It was so fun to watch them. But it was completely exhausting trying to get them to go down for naps and put to bed. That was quite the challenge. As you can see, we had an Easter egg hunt outside which was very successful. We're so glad it was nice outside to play so we didn't have to be trapped inside.

And then there were tractor rides on Sunday. Even Hunter got to go for a ride.

And it's always fun to get all the kids together for a picture. This one didn't turn out too bad.

Happy Birthday Mallory

Caitlin helped Mal blow out her candles, look at that cheesy smile. She loves her cake and ice cream. We're so glad Mallory spent her 19th Birthday with us!!

We took the kids down to the park in our neighborhood on Sunday since it was so nice out. I couldn't believe how much Hunter loved the baby swing. We must now purchase a swing set....

Fun with Brent and Malllory

Every Tuesday night my cousins Brent and Mallory come over for dinner. They both go to ISU so they enjoy getting a good home cooked meal and playing with the kids. Caitlin LOVES Brent! and Mal loves playing with Hunter! You can see how they're cuddled up in the pictures.

Mamamamama

Hunter may have said dada first, but he REALLY likes saying mamamamamamama.... and I LOVE it. It's so sweet. He's trying to repeat more words and he roars like a lion back at daddy. He's eating more table foods which I'm really excited about because I hate baby food!
Hunter is almost 11 months old, OMG! His first birthday is right around the corner, yikes!

Play time

We were having fun playing in Hunter's room the other day so I took a few pictures. None of them are great, but I did get some random videos. Those will be fun to watch when they're bigger.

Mommy/Daughter Day

Last weekend Caitlin and I got some fun time together in the morning so we went to the Children's Discovery Museum for the first time. I can't believe we had never gone there. She had tons of fun. We then went to take daddy some lunch since he was working and then did a little shopping to get a baby gift for our neighbor. It was so nice having some time with just the two of us. We had dropped Hunter off at Mom Mom's and Caitlin kept asking to check on him, it was so sweet. She wasn't sure why he didn't come along, but I think she secretly liked it.
The weekend ended with Caitlin getting the flu so that wasn't so much fun. I stayed home on Monday with both of them and Grandma came to take care of them on Tuesday. I think everyone is finally better. It was a long week!
