Happy 3rd Birthday Caitlin!

I love this picture, saying "Cheese" by her Minnie Mouse cake!

Is she excited or what?

My parents were such great sports and dressed up for the occasion.  My mom actually made my dad's sweatshirt into a v-neck so he could wear it.  That sweatshirt is almost 40 years old, wow!!!

Caitlin and Kristen- so happy to see each other!

Notice my brother's face in this picture, poor guy went to Target by himself to get Caitlin's birthday present
and my mom got her the same thing!

Caitlin's new baby carrier and diaper bag.... she couldn't have been happier!  She is the best little mommy and takes such good care of her babies.  She has Baby Tina, Baby Lynn and Baby Jo.  Baby Tina is her favorite for some reason.

Hunter had a good time at the party too!  He couldn't wait for a cupcake.  We caught him on multiple occasions on top of the table trying to steal one.  He's got a sweet tooth!

Meet the newest member of our family..... Minnie (The beta fish)
Thanks Uncle Chris!

It's never a good idea to get a family picture at the END of the night!

I have no idea what this picture is, but it looks like fire so I had to laugh.  If the dump truck really was on fire, I think Hunter would still play with it, HA!
Hunter being a stinker!
This was from ISU's Homecoming Parade.  What a great time!  We bundled up and went to enjoy the festivities.  They were both so great and quiet during the parade.  It was afterwards that Caitlin kept saying, "Everyone kept throwing candy at me."  It was so funny.  She thought she was something special.
I love this picture!  It's not very often when they cuddle on the couch together, so I don't take these moments for granted.

While mom was away...

I had to go to Chicago for 5 nights for work the last week of September and it may have been the hardest thing I've ever done.  I did end up having some fun, but I couldn't wait to get home to see my family.  The kids got to go stay at Grandma and Pa's for 3 nights and I think they enjoyed themselves.  Caitlin did chores with Pa on the farm and helped with the farming.  Hunter had fun running around and chasing the kitties.  I was very fortunate that they got to spend some quality time with their grandparents and were distracted and not thinking about me being gone.

Caitlin was loving riding in the combine with Marty.
Lovin' on Aunt Meg

Is this not the cutest picture you've ever seen?  He is so serious about this kitty, but it's so funny! He loves animals so much, especially puppies and ducks!!

Rader's Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time at the pumpkin patch but unfortunately it was pretty windy and cold.  We stayed as long as we could and left before naptime so the kids weren't cranky the rest of the day.  I love Hunter's face in these pictures, he just looks so happy.  He loved the goats the best and I think Caitlin loved all the pumpkins.  She picked out her own that we will eventually carve.  We're hoping to make it back again sometime before the season is over.

Go ISU!!

We took Caitlin to her first football and tailgating experience. We had such a great time. My aunt and uncle came down for family weekend to see Brent and Mallory and cheer on ISU.
Caitlin especially liked the marching band and I'm excited now to take her to the homecoming parade. Poor Hunter didn't get to go (I was afraid I would lose him because he's a wanderer) but you can see he was sporting the ISU gear. What a great day and weekend!!

The new Streit's

My brother got married on Sept 8th to a wonderful woman. Him and Megan are such a great couple. Unfortunately in the midst of the crazy weekend, I didn't get many pictures of my brother, oops! It was a great weekend and so much fun.

Cornbelters Game

We finally got a chance to go to a baseball game this season. It had been way too hot to take the kids and we picked a perfect night. Mom mom and uncle Chris came with us too. Caitlin liked cheering for the players and Hunter just liked climbing up and down the seats. It wasn't very busy so the kids got to go in the jumpy house by themselves and had a blast. Caitlin sat so good for the guy to paint a butterfly on her face. It looked so cute. We had a great time and look forward to going to more games next year.
